Yes. Free, no account, no upsell, no premium tier. We built it for ourselves and it costs nothing to give it away.
You can tip on Ko-fi at ko-fi.com/jfds21, and it gets you nothing extra — that's the point. Tips are voluntary contributions toward ongoing development; no feature, licence, or support tier is sold or unlocked. The extension is identical whether you tip or not.
Yes. The extension reads from your usage settings page on claude.ai, regardless of which plan tier you're on. If your plan shows usage limits, the extension will surface them.
No. The extension only reads your usage limits from claude.ai/settings/usage. When you export a conversation or search within it, everything happens locally in your browser — nothing is sent to any server. We don't run servers. We don't have analytics. Your Claude data never leaves your browser.
Markdown (.md), HTML (.html), and plain text (.txt). Pick whichever fits where the conversation is headed — Markdown for Notion or Obsidian, HTML to keep formatting, or plain text for a quick paste.
An optional nudge that lets you know when you're getting close to a usage limit, so a cutoff doesn't catch you mid-task. You stay in control — they're there to give you a heads-up while you still have room to wrap up.
Only if you explicitly enable extensions for incognito/private windows in your browser's extension settings. By default, browsers disable extensions in private windows for safety. Once you enable it, the extension behaves identically.
Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. The Chrome, Firefox, and Edge versions come from each browser's add-on store; the Safari version is on the Mac App Store. Same features across all of them.
On Chrome, Firefox, or Edge: right-click the extension icon in your toolbar and choose Remove, or open your browser's extension manager (chrome://extensions on Chrome, about:addons on Firefox, edge://extensions on Edge). On Safari, turn it off in Safari Settings → Extensions, or delete the Usage Tracker for Claude AI app from your Applications folder. Any local data the extension stored disappears with it.

Email support@vannie.app with your browser, browser version, and a quick description of what's happening. We answer everything.
The extension is free and stays that way. If you'd like to chip in toward the next update, there's a tip jar at ko-fi.com/jfds21. Entirely optional — it unlocks nothing.
