No. Vintage Calc is a stateless calculator on purpose — like the desk calculators it was inspired by. Once you leave the screen, the math is gone. If you want history, the default iOS calculator now has it built in.
Yes. Vintage Calc never connects to the internet. Everything runs locally on your phone. You could put the device in airplane mode forever and the app would be perfectly happy.
That faint "~8888" you see behind the digits is intentional — real segmented LCDs from the 70s did exactly that. The unlit segments stayed faintly visible behind whatever was on the screen. We kept it because it's part of the look.
The click follows your phone's ringer/silent switch and your media volume. Flip the silent switch to mute it entirely. Haptics still fire on physical devices regardless of mute.
Yes — Vintage Calc is also coming to Google Play. Both versions are built from the same codebase and behave identically.
Probably not. The whole point of Vintage Calc is that it's a four-function calculator and nothing else. If you have a strong case for a feature, email us — we'll listen — but the bar is high.
